Mid-Conference Field Trip 22
Tour one of the largest and most innovative wildlife conservation centers in the world located on over 400 ha (1,000 acres) of reclaimed mine land. The trip will begin at their Conservation Science Training Center for a tour of their research facilities. A workshop highlighting their conservation research programs and international biodiversity collaborations will be presented. Participants will board safari buses to see the resident exotic animals, mid-sized Carnivore Center, pollinator plots and restored wetland complex. You will learn about large herd management and several endangered species breeding programs. Dinner will be included at the facility.
Cost: US$20 for dinner – transportation and lunch included.
